The company ELSYS is pleased to offer the new series of power amplifier UM - 3, which was developed as a final power amplifier for the radio navigation system and also it can be used for amplify continuous and impulse signal in frequency range from 9.5GHz to 10.5GHz .

Power amplifier UM3 functionally consists of:

• power amplifier;
• controlled attenuator;
• power supply device;
• control device;
• indication device.

The controlled attenuator provides attenuation of an input signal from 0 dB up to minus 45 dB with discreteness 5 dB. The attenuation is controlled by the digital three-digit code or positive by analogue voltage from 0,5 to 5,5V.

The power supply device provides stabilization of voltage +9V, +5V and -5V for supple of cascades of amplification and control device. Also it has built-in protection against excess of voltage +9V, +5V, lowering of an absolute value or missing of voltage -5V and also excess of consumption current on a source +9V. In any of these cases on the indication device show the signal "Emergency".

The amplifier requires external air-cooling. The operating time at the temperature of environments +27 C without cooling is no more than 20 minutes (it's limited of the control device). Range of operation temperatures is from minus 20 C up to plus 60 C.

Structurally device is made in an aluminium package with radiator.

It has RF input - coaxial SMA (female) and RF output wave-guide by section 10 / 23mm.
